This style of pen was designed by Dick Sing, an expert in the field of penmaking. Basically, it uses the inner workings of a Montblanc style pen and yet is outwardly not much larger than the Slimline style. This pen, with it's larger midsection and the tapered ends, feels especially comfortable for writing!
