Purchasing a House of Pens Product

You can pay for your purchase using Paypal, even if you don't have a Paypal account.

Paypal is the leader in SECURE payments by the internet. Your payment account information is given only to Paypal and no one else - not even us. You will be paying Paypal and Paypal will then pay us.

PLEASE NOTE: Only actual shipping costs are charged, and all shipments are sent via Expedited Parcel, which is both traceable and insured. If you desire faster shipping, packages can be sent via UPS courier, but the shipping cost will be higher and perhaps only a couple of days faster.  Please send us an email if you want a shipping cost quote.

Ordering Procedure

1. Once you've made your choices, click the Email button at the bottom of any page of this site.

2. In your email, include a list of the items you desire, along with your shipping information.  Make sure to check your address for accuracy, as we cannot be held responsible for shipments sent to incorrectly supplied addresses.

3. We will send you an invoice via Paypal which will outline all the charges. The actual shipping charge will be shown and included in the amount.

If you are satisfied with the amount of the proposed charge, you can then supply your payment account details to Paypal and complete your transaction, paying for your purchase in the currency of your choice.

4. We will usually receive immediate confirmation of your payment, and make all necessary arrangements to ship your House of Pens purchase to you at the address you provided.

5. A tracking number will be sent to you via email once the package has been processed by the postal service, and a link will be included for you to check the status of the package on the internet.  Please allow 24-48 hours for tracking to be updated by the post office after you initially receive the tracking number.

6. Once you receive your order, please open and inspect your items.  If there was any damage in shipment, it should be reported immediately.  If you have any other concerns, please contact us by email to discuss them.

7. While there are no refunds, should you have a defective item, we will exchange it free of charge.  While we do not reimburse shipping costs on returns, we do not charge for shipping to return a replacement item to you.  We consider this a fair compromise.  However, before returning any item, please email us and detail your concerns.  No returns should be made without contacting us first.

Care of Your New Handcrafted Pen

You can preserve the beauty of the wood and it's finish by applying a small amount of furniture polish to a soft cloth, and lightly buffing the wood from time to time.

With only a soft damp cloth, "gently" wipe the metal parts, and then buff them lightly with a soft dry cloth. NEVER use cleaning fluids or abrasive cleaners on any part of your pen. Also, your pen should not be left in direct sunlight for extended periods of time as it may become damaged from the possible extreme heat. Your new pen can last a lifetime, but like most things, it will not tolerate abuse.
